What the desk can help with

mybiopeptides is a small editorial project, and the most useful correspondence it receives is corrective.

If a citation on this site does not support the sentence attached to it, if a figure has been transcribed wrongly, if a study has been superseded, or if a naming claim is mistaken — a stem misattributed, a code assigned to the wrong programme, a synonym listed that belongs to a different molecule — that is exactly the sort of message worth sending. Nomenclature is an area where confident errors propagate easily, and this site would rather be corrected than repeated.

Questions about sourcing are also welcome. Every numbered reference on the references page carries enough detail to locate the original, and if the path from a claim to its source is unclear, that is a fault worth fixing.

What the desk cannot do

It cannot give medical advice, and it will not.

No message to this desk can be answered with a dose, a protocol, a schedule, or an opinion on whether a particular compound is appropriate for a particular person. That is not caution for its own sake: two of the five compounds covered here are not approved for human use anywhere, and for those there is no established human dose to give even in principle. For the approved ones, the people qualified to answer are clinicians with access to a medical history, which this desk does not have.

It also cannot help with obtaining anything. mybiopeptides has no products, no inventory, no supplier relationships and no referral arrangements, and it does not maintain lists of vendors. Enquiries of that kind will go unanswered.

For anything else — a correction, a source, a question about why a molecule is named the way it is — the desk reads everything it is sent.
